The importance of media coverage for care homes


I want to take the opportunity to introduce you to Adam James, Founder of Springup PR. Adam knows the importance of using social media, local media and mainstream television to promote your care home. I think it's also a great way to show that you recognise the efforts and talents of your activity coordinator and the rest of your care team. Last month we featured an article about Dinsdale Lodge and their wonderful activity coordinator Donna Measor Robinson. Donna sent me a note about how she had raised money to make a wish come true for residents at her home. She followed this up with an article for our blog page about the visit. The response we gained from that post was so remarkable that we decided to reward Donna with a £20 voucher to spend in our online shop. We are now going to be rewarding one activity coordinator in the same way each month.
