Busy Times

It really has been such a busy couple of weeks for Bright Copper Kettles. Last weekend I was in London at the fabulous Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel celebrating reaching the finals of the UK blog awards in two categories. Thank you all, once again, for voting for Bright Copper Kettles. It was a fantastic evening which started well with meeting Caron Sprake from Caron Cares at the entrance to the event. Caron won the Health and Social care category ‪#‎UKBlogAwards 2016! What a fantastic achievement – well done Caron! Winning this category has really put elder care blogging in the limelight. The event hosted over 600 people, including bloggers from all over the UK and the venue was buzzing with excitement and bubbles.

Bright Copper Kettles has now entered into another competition. This time with Virgin Media Business: #VOOM 2016, UK and Ireland's biggest and most valuable pitch competition. We are in the Start Up category and have also added Crowdfunder to launch our Founder Memberships. Activity Coordinators and Carers can take advantage of our special launch price of £20 for 1 year of access to 1,000s of tips and ideas for activities suitable for older people, including those with dementia.

For businesses in health and social care sector we also have some great offers for advertising in our Business Directory as well as sponsorship opportunities to reach Activity Coordinators and Carers.

Please pop over to https://www.vmbvoom.com/pitches/bright-copper-kettles and vote for us.

The winner of each category will receive a £250,000 ad campaign and £50,000 in cash. Plus there's social media and PR support, a broadband and telecoms package, mentoring, financial advice and much more. There are prize packages for four runners-up too. As you can imagine, this would be a huge advantage to us, enabling us to draw in the best resources and suppliers to inspire and inform our Activity Coordinators and Carers.

We can’t do it without you - We really need your votes.
