Established in 2011, we know that our format at Musical Moments™ is a proven and successful model: we’ve already had to recruit seven members of staff across Cheshire and the surrounding counties to address the company’s rapid growth.
Musical Moments™ was born from Beckie’s own personal experience with dementia; her grandmother was living with dementia at the time and she discovered the amazing effect music had on her communication, happiness and general well-being.
Beckie went on to study at Leeds College of Music and her specialism was in Community Music, with particular research in Music and Dementia, as she found the subject fascinating and inspiring. Musical Moments began as just a small idea, in her hometown in Congleton, Cheshire.
The organisation has now grown to a small team based in the North West and has discovered a great demand for the service. Every element of the company and the brand has been hand-crafted by our small but passionate team, making our core values personal and honest.

We need musical people to join our network – how you want to grow your business is up to you. To have an excellent level of musicality or musical background, either a competent singer or musician at a good standard with a portable instrument, such as guitar, clarinet, flute or violin.
You’ll need access to your own car, you’ll need to take a large box of equipment around with you to your sessions and to travel distances of up to 15 miles, so your own transport is essential to the role.
If you like public speaking and working with large groups – this is also the career for you.

Personal Development Support - operational support for Franchisees will be given at any time in the working week, or weekend appointments can be scheduled if necessary. Flexibility is a key word in our business. Most of our network is run online; we have a great staff online community where we share practise discussions, tutorial videos and new activity ideas.
Business Practice Support - we are constantly updating our material so that we are delivering fresh and appropriate sessions and content. A new session plan will be emailed directly to your inbox every week. You won’t need to plan your sessions, we’ll do it for you. We’ll also make sure that you’re trained and confident to deliver your music sessions.
Online and Marketing Support - we’ve got a strong marketing team on board, and in-house social media and artwork team that keep our social media pages strong and connected with our target audiences every single day. With a 100% response rate on our Facebook page, we also have a collective number of 4000 followers across our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
Industry Support - our team at Musical Moments HQ have had years of experience in the care home activity industry, and will be able to answer any type of question or query that you have with confidence and success.
Financial Support - our clear and concise financial model that will enable you to see how your business will operate financially and we shall advise with any bank funding that you may need.
PR Support - when joining our network we’ll hold an official ‘business launch’ morning with local press and special guests from your area to get your business of to a flying start and attract potential clients.
We are a fair and ethical franchise, investing a percentage of your commission back into business growth and national marketing.
Training Opportunities – you’ll be provided with two free training events a year, plus our staff socials. It’s important to us to take on board your thoughts and comments in order to continue to develop Musical Moments’ service. Meanwhile, our one-on-one training will ensure that you’re always delivering the best and most up-to-date sessions you possibly can.
Large Online Community – we have an already large number of followers on social media, over 3,000 and growing on our social media platforms, the largest in the care home entertainment industry, with an organic reach of over 80,000 on our Facebook page in the last 6 months.
All Materials Provided – we provide you with absolutely everything. We have a huge library of activities with descriptions, tutorial videos and a new and unique activity plan sent to your inbox every single week.
