There are currently 850,000 people living with dementia. 60,000 diagnosed under the age of 65 years. Dementia does not discriminate and the organisers of World Rock Against Dementia (WRAD) aim to ensure that those diagnosed and their families are not forgotten.
World Rock Against Dementia took place for the first time this year and was a huge success with 15 countries and 31 cities all holding events simultaneously.
This main UK event will be held at Hannah’s, Seale-Hayne on the 18th March 2017 but we require funding to ensure its success.
A fantastic line-up is planned, to be enjoyed by the whole family, with a guest celebrity opening the proceedings. in fact this is an event you won't want to miss!

If you are feeling inspired, why not organise an event? Hold a music event near you, be it Rock, classical, R+B, Soul, Blues, or even RAP !! It need not be a big event, small ones matter too. Tell us where it is and we will tell everybody about it. WRAD2017 could possibly be the Biggest dementia awareness raising event the WORLD has ever seen.
